ABCD is dedicated to improving the quality of life of children and young adults who suffer from physical, mental and psychological disabilities in the Greater Bethlehem Area of the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip. ABCD sponsors treatment for those in need regardless of gender, race or creed, helping them to reach their full potential, to live life with dignity and to take their rightful place in their community.
ABCD works through Palestinian partners, The Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation (BASR) based in Beit Jala, Bethlehem University in Bethlehem and The Sheepfold in Beit Sahour.
In 2012 the BASR celebrates 50 years of working with the disabled and disadvantaged in Palestine. For full details on their mission and outreach please visit their website: www.basr.org.
